Bulgari's white ground is nearly consumed by its veining: dense, reticulated dark-grey strands interlaced with gold, forming a web-like network closer to Calacatta Viola in intensity than to any quiet white. Every slab is a one-off composition — which is exactly why designers bookmatch it, mirroring two consecutive slabs so the web pattern opens symmetrically across a feature wall or island face.

Recommended applications:

Use with caution:
- Kitchen countertops — possible, but heavy daily cooking will etch marble (citrus, wine, vinegar, tomato). For working counters we honestly recommend a quartzite such as Taj Mahal, pairing it with Bulgari on the splashback or island face where the drama lives
- Bold-vein floors in very high-traffic commercial spaces — the pattern shows wear sooner than a uniform stone
Maintenance Guide
- Seal every 6–12 months with a penetrating (impregnating) sealer; vanities and wet areas at the 6-month end
- Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner only — never vinegar, bleach, or acidic sprays, which will leave dull etch marks in the polish
- Wipe spills immediately, especially wine, coffee, and citrus — dark veins hide stains better than the white ground, so act on the white areas first
- Etch marks can be re-polished by a stone professional; on honed finishes they are far less visible
